The Zinkenlifte Hallein / Bad Dürrnberg offer a marked ski tour route to the Zinkenkogel. You can even start a tour to the Rossfeld in Bavaria.
From the parking lot turn left and cross the municipal road twice and along the slope towards the Osthang. Follow along the edge of the Osthang over the southern bypass to the Zinkenkogel or cross the Osthang to continue to the Rossfeld in Germany.
Insert € 5,- into the parking meter, place the parking ticket in clear view behind the windshield and you are ready to start! After 1 to 1.5 hours of climb the culinary delights in the mountain inn Zinkenstüberl await you.

Skitouring: The Rules
- Please note the slope opening hours for your own safety. Climbing on the ski slope and over the slope of the upper T-bar lift is not allowed.
To ensure a safe coexistence on the slopes, we ask for compliance with the general cross-country rules:
- Climb at the edge of the slope
- No ascending next to each other
- Keep dogs on a leash
- Ski at the edge of the slope
- Do not use the T-bar lanes
Due to limited space, it may not be possible to park on the parking areas of the Zinkenlifte during the opening hours on weekends and holidays.
Ski tour slope opening hours: Mon-Wed from 08.30 am to 10.30 pm and Thu-Sun from 08.30 am to 05.30 pm. (currently closed)
